With their tree specific, they can either get out of a sticky jam, or dish out a second to down that boss that much quicker. Although their focus isn't on DoTs, they do use two: as all hunters do, plus Careful Aim which procs off of their array of already powerful shots. They focus mostly on using powerful, instant cast shots that do all their damage at once, such as (AiS).
